Dog sled rides at Northern Lights Lodge

Northern Lights Lodge hosts their 5th Annual Dog Sled Ride. Experience for yourself why Ely is known as the Sled Dog Capital of the World. Bill Slaughter and his Northwoods Guide Service crew and sled dogs will thrill and entertain everyone on a one-plus mile long ride along the shore of Bear Island Lake. Stay all warm and cozy as you watch these wonder dogs pull from our lake side winter bonfire!

Complimentary hot cocoa, tea or coffee, cookies and fresh popcorn before or after your ride in front of the Lodge hearth. Departures every 15 minutes. $25 each rider. Reserve by credit card at Northern Lights Lodge website or call 218-827-2501.
