Fly fishing is a fun and rewarding “Lifelong Adventure.” You can fly fish all water for any fish! This class is for beginners to advanced tiers, including youth 10 and older. You will enjoy tying two simple but effective streamer patterns creating a great spring-type fly for pike and bass that also catches walleyes. The tying techniques covered in class can also be applied to jigs and crankbaits. All equipment and materials are provided.
About the Instructors: Bob and Val Wagner are career teachers and have taught fly fishing in community ed for years, with previous classes here. Bob has also been a park naturalist and is chair of Headwaters Trout Unlimited.
