We’ll take a wide-ranging look at the evolution of the universe from the Big Bang to the first stars and planets all the way to the present day Earth … and beyond. We’ll also touch on what’s bright and easy to see in the February sky including Venus, Mercury, the Full Snow Moon and Orion.
About the Instructor: Bob King has loved the stars since he was a kid and shares that love through teaching and writing. He lives in Duluth with his wife Linda and is recently retired from a career as a photojournalist and photo editor at the Duluth News Tribune. His books “Night Sky with the Naked Eye” and “Wonders of the Night Sky” are available on Amazon and at area bookstores. His latest book, “Urban Legends from Space” will publish this fall. Bob has 31 years teaching community education astronomy for the Duluth School District and has taught previously at the Ely Folk School and North House Folk School. Register Here
